KC DECA

KC DECA is the largest non-athletic student club at Kingston Collegiate & Vocational Institute. They are committed to providing endless learning opportunities in different fields of business and memorable experiences at competitions  across North America for their members. They are the largest chapter of DECA in Eastern Ontario with over 60 members, out of a total of 200,000 worldwide.

As we were working with a large and successful student club that needed a unified brand and identity, we created materials that would engage everyone with KC DECA’s aura: students, teachers, community members, and potential sponsors/donors. We designed an all new logo that included a part of the school’s mascot: the Blue Bear claw. We also created PowerPoint slides that played on the school’s television monitor announcement system, brochures to promote the club, various posters to promote the club and their fundraising efforts, a t-shirt that was provided to all the club members, as well as content for their social media and website pages. We created an effective advertising campaign and online strategy for the club, two aspects of promotion that were lacking in previous years. Lastly, we created a website that effectively conveyed the clubs mission and helped prepare members for the competitions they would take part in.
